Road World Championships

Mathias Fekl, Secretary of State for foreign trade, the promotion of tourism and the French from abroad

Matthias Fekl was in Qatar this September 5th, 2016, to strengthen French Qatari economic relationship. Matthias Fekl was accompanied by 20 companies, large groups and SMEs, to also support French offer, particularly in the context of the preparation of the 2022 football World Cup. He met with the Ministers of finance, transport as well as municipalities and the environment. He also met,with the French delegation and FT4S the Secretary General of the Organizing Committee of the World Cup.

Supreme Committee’s activities

On February 14^th 2016, Mr. Hassan AL THAWADI, General Secretary of the Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy – in charge of the organization of the FIFA World Cup 2022 in Qatar – introduced the Supreme Committee’s activities to all French Team 4 Sport members. The event was taking place at the French Residence in Doha.
